As a follow-up of a successful test at the BiDiMoVe plugtest in 08/2021, our unit has been installed at a bus of Hamburger Hochbahn (Hamburg, DE). Thus, the unit is now successfully operated withing the scope of the BiDiMoVe project in Hamburg. Currently, it ensures priority on 9 equipped intersections (RSU by Siemens, Swarco). The unit is connected to the board computer by Trapeze GmBH.
The project features the following:
- Priority using SREM/SSEM messages in the BiDiMoVe standard – SREM is forwarded by the RSU to the cetral system by GESIG, which then decided whether the priority is allowed. RSU sends back status information as SSEM message.
- Secured communication: the unit is registered to the Hamburg‘s BiDiMoVe PKI by Escrypt.
- The unit is connected to the board computer by Trapeze GmbH. Using the protocol IBISplus (SOAP interface), the OBU obtains all necessary data about the current public transport route (line number, vehicle number, delay etc.).
