In 2021, we have realized a project for the town of Ludwigsburg (DE, Baden-Württenberg). 110 OBU units were delivered and installed, 90 for in busses and remaining 20 are intended for emergency vehicles. Thus, a complete fleet of public transport vehicles in Ludwigsburg was equipped, making the project probably largest of its kind in Germany.
The OBU unit is connected to the board computer by IVU using the standard VDV 301-2 – IBIS-IP. This way the OBU receives the necessary information about the current public transport trip.
